Christmas is right around the corner and will be here before you know it. My wife is already listening to Christmas music.

I have a fake tree so I can set it up early and it stays the same until after New Years without having to be watered.
Instant Gratification. Low Maintenance. Yes, please!
And mine goes up on Thanksgiving night.
Comment by Rita November 12, 2008 @ 4:10 pmI’ve always had a fake tree until ashley and i got married…we may do the fake tree this year..but they are expensive!! but you do make that cost up after a couple of years…it was just more expensive than i thought they would be.
Comment by Travis Wright November 12, 2008 @ 4:54 pmExpensive? Not really considering the average real tree is around $40-$50 depending on size. I would think after two years you would recoup the investment of an artificial. Hobby Lobby has theirs on sale this week too.

Most are pre-lit, where seem cool at the time of purchase, but if something screws up then you have to replace the whole tree. The first pre-lit tree I bought only worked for 2 years and then had to be replaced due to the lights screwing up. I would go with a non-pre-lit tree then add your own lights. Just a word of wisdom.
Their sales normally end on Saturday night, so you might want to get on that ASAP. They are closed on Sunday too.
