Who knew? Not me. I had no idea Great Whites ever came around this way. It’s obviously a rare occurence, but check out this article. This is the area where I always went in college and it’s a great place to fish. For those not familiar, it’s the area at the end of Folly Beach near where the lighthouse is. Morris Island is on the other side of the inlet.

my home home is like not even 10 minutes from folly beach & every time i would go to the beach, mom would say “don’t go too deep in the water… you don’t know what’s swimming out there… could be sharks”

and i would just kind of shrug it off and tell her she’s crazy.

now she has a reason to say “i told you so”…

thanks.

I heard about this and meant to tell you about it. Gives us something to look forward to next year when we go fishing! I’m looking forward to it!

Wow, I think I am going to not go in the water any time soon. The movie Jaws’..great movie..really ruined it for me about even attempting to go into the ocean. I didn’t go into the ocean..waist deep until I was 21! I love sharks but only when they are confined to a couple..several inches of hard glass
